In August 2021, CDCLI partnered with Community Power Long Island to take advantage of this unique fundraising opportunity. Here are initial results!
• CDCLI reached out to a small test subset of their membership via text and email offering them access to cheaper cleaner power.
• Over 150 individuals are in the registration process and once complete CDCLI will get a direct donation for each individual who successfully signs up for the program.
• With this small test CDCLI will have the potential to receive a $7,500 donation by just reaching out to their database with this offer.
• Following the successful test, CDCLI and Community Power Long Island will reach out to the full database of thousands with the potential to earn thousands of dollars in donations for CDCLI in just a few short weeks.
